Source I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read to review basis Thanks to HarperCollins and Edelweiss Everyone deserves to find true love Everyone deserves to love someone the way I loved Austin This was a YA contemporary romance story, which was once again about the love lives of the three main characters Darcy, Sadie and Rosanna.Darcy was surprised in this book at the arrival of her ex boyfriend Logan, and they struck up a bit of a new relationship Logan was my heart Could he [...]

I don t know why I bother.I abhorredCity Love I m sure Susane Colasanti is a great author, but she just doesn t appeal to me I went intoLost in Love, hoping for something different and received not.Darcy, Rosanna, and Sadie have all been hit with curveballs Quite literally Rosanna is still dating the luscious D No pun intended, I assure you But after his high school friend returns to town, needing help, D suddenly has no time for her Sadie is still dealing with the aftermath of Austin s revelati [...]

    4. Lisa says:

3.5 stars I jointly reviewed this with my co blogger, Becca THE STORY Lisa City Love ended with quite a open ending feeling Becca and I were really looking forward to seeing what happened next for this group of girls Lost in Love picks up exactly where City Love leaves off And if you ve read City Love, then you know it left off with allllll kinds of drama in that Manhattan apartment This group of girls experienced love in the city, as they had desired but that love was filled with drama than yo [...]

    5. Emma says:

Lost in Love is the second book in Colasanti s City Love trilogy which begins with City Love This review contains major spoilers for the first book Sadie thought Austin was her soulmate and that her summer before college was going to be filled with the epic love she d always dreamed of When Sadie finds out that Austin has been lying to her, she isn t sure how to reconcile her dream guy with the flawed one trying so hard to make amends and win her back.Darcy planned to spend her first summer in N [...]

In this second book of the City Love trilogy by bestselling author Susane Colasanti, three girls share a Manhattan apartment the summer before college begins Lost in Love captures the essence of summer love, self discovery, and sisterhood, a perfect fit for fans of Sarah Dessen, Jenny Han, and Jennifer E Smith.Sadie was convinced that Austin was her soul mate, but after discovering his secret she wonders if she even knows him at all Darcy was all about fun boy adventures with no strings attached [...]

This is my final line from my review of the first book in this series I guess I ll read it with hope that it will get better Sadly, it doesn t.When I got almost to the end of this book, I thought at least two of the characters need some serious therapy I don t say that lightly Theses girls seem to have major issues that need to be dealt with. And they all create their own drama which is something I have developed a real aversion to in books And it isn t a complete story, again I know, I shouldn t [...]

    8. Elyse Rosen says:

I d probably give this book 3 3.5 stars wasn t bad, but it wasn t greatI feel like this happened with City Love too It bothers me that I don t feel a total connection with any of these characters There are portions that I enjoy and that I want of, but only portions I feel like the characters, dialogue, and situations are so unrealistic It just feels really stilted and awkward.Towards the middle to the end I just kind of wanted to finish it and move forward BUT the end was good and interesting I [...]

    9. Lucie Paris says:

Haven t read the first opus but it was not hard to get into the book or to understand the story If it s well written and the three girls very different, I m sorry to confess it hasn t touched me I ve read their struggles and it s really well told.It s just that I felt no connexion or emotions pulling me into these heroines. As the author picture three very lovely women, I hope you will have chance than me to bond with them as the story is not bad at all.Lucienewbooksonmyselves

    10. Laura's Book Addiction says:

People aren t perfect Neither is love Soul mates aren t always people you can, or even should, be with Can the whole book just be about Rosanna She s my favourite out of the three girls and I enjoy her PoV so much That being said I still found myself enjoying Sadie Darcy s chapters I m not going to lie, if Darcy doesn t end up with Jude I ll cry Now Sadie and Austin, I m not sure I d forgive him so who knows if she will Book three now please

    11. Kristel says:

I don t know why I read this book after being disappointed in the first one Lost in Love is worse than City Love It feels rushed and the writing is sloppy All three girls feel like stereotyped versions of people Like Kirkus said, this book is superficial.

    12. Brianna says:

AMAZINGGGGG so cliffhangerish Susane I love this book

    13. Aylea says:

Picking up where the first book left off, Darcy, Sadie, and Rosanna are still in the middle of a life changing summer discovering themselves, love, and how to deal with life s challenges Darcy s ex boyfriend Logan arrives and she works to figure out where she stands with him Sadie tries to get over Austin after finding out that he is married, but he keeps turning up in her life and trying to convince her to give him another chance Meanwhile, Rosanna is going on vacation with D, struggling with f [...]

    14. Austin Taylor says:

Susane Colasanti s, Lost in Love, book two of the City Love trilogy, is an emotional love story of three girls and their lives in New York City together The book is formatted so that every chapter is a different girl s perspective on what is going on at that moment Colasanti show the reader how Sadie, Darcy, and Rosanna learn to live with each other and also learn to live with the struggles of love I enjoy the plot quite a lot because there is always a new conflict Since we are following three d [...]

    15. Erika says:

I always feel like I have to defend myself when I read Susane Colasanti If I had written this book, I would not be proud of it The writing isn t smart, the characters are flat, and there s some serious shaming going on But I continue to read her books because she writes about New York City the way I see New York City as a magical, vibrant city with infinite possibility The City Love trilogy is a love letter to New York, and I live for the places she takes her characters These pages are full of N [...]

    16. Angel N. says:

Lost in love is a great 2nd book to City Love It continues the point of views of the characters which is a huge factor to the series Throughout the book, it kind of leaves you on edge wanting read and figure out what happens next to each character I personally love the idea of the characters going through good and bad times throughout a regular relationships, and not sharing false things about being in a relationship or giving the reader high hopes This book is just as good as the first.

    17. Sophia Gomez says:

This book is about three girls who share an apartment in Manhattan, Rosanna, Sadie, and Darcy Rosanna has a boyfriend and Sadie thinks she has found her love and then there is darcy who is all about fun These girls through out the book struggle with their relationships Personally I don t like to read romance novels, but i liked this book This book was good but not the best I have read I really would recommend this book if you need something to read.

    18. Claudia says:

So after my last review of this trilogy, I m not sure what there is left to say Again it was a great book, high page turner I do think there was less magic, less love, even though that was the point of this particular book I guess I was just expecting a teensy bit I think Colasanti did a good job of making the reader feel everything that was going on, and that s quite a challenge considering there are 3 perspectives in this book I m excited to see what the final book brings

    19. Saleena Davidson says:

This is the sequel to City Love which I must admit, I didn t read However, it s a pretty straighforward romantic novel with three different leads and three different love life issues Everything is happening over the summer before the girls start college, and so some situations, younger readers won t identify withbut for the most party, it s an interesting and emotional journey for the main characters with a cliffhanger ending for the next book.

    20. Yasmin says:

It was rlly good Although it ended with a huge cliff hanger and I HATE LOGAAAANN And With Sadie she finally starts talking with Austin, Although we have no Idea wether or not she is going to get back with him or not so Now I rllyyyy want to read the next story And Then Poor Rosanna Nasty Girl Addison is tortouring her And She does not deserve that.

    21. Katelyn says:

I appreciated this book because it had a lot character development I was annoyed with Sadie and her instalove in Book 1, but appreciated that we got to see of her and less of in this book Will read Book 3 simply because this story has become a good summer guilty pleasure read

    22. Kelsey van Dillen says:

Dit tweede deel had wel iets meer schandaal dan het eerste deel, toch voelt het nog steeds heel erg als 3 aparte verhalen en gebeurt er weinig door het boek heen

    23. Daniela Bernaldo says:

I m getting suuuuuper frustated I need to know how it ends ASAP

    24. Sofia Barba says:

I can t wait for the 3rd book.

    25. Estelle says:

    27. Novelista Blogs says:

If you have not picked up the first book in the trilogy City Love, then you are missing out I highly suggest you run to the nearest bookstore and pick it up before reading ahead I have always been a huge fan of Susane and this book reminds why The writing flows so well you get lost in the book and you find yourself in New York with Rosanna, Sadie and Darcy Much like the first book in this trilogy, I could not put it down once I got started I wanted to find out what happened and what was going to [...]

    28. Cassidy says:

Lost in Love is an improvement over the first book, City Love, which is understandable considering that the second title in any trilogy is usually where the most conflict lies All three girls face something unexpected and challenging, whether it s Sadie s heartbreak over Austin concealing his marriage, Rosanna s attempts to deal with D s too close female friend, or a betrayal catching Darcy off guard, just when she d started to let go of some cynicism.Rosanna points out, D is treating me to the [...]

    29. Asheley says:

After finishing City Love with its ending, I couldn t wait to dive into this book I read it from start to finish, in one sitting Lost In Love picks up only a couple of days after the end of the first book and takes place over another few weeks during the same summer Austin s massive secret has perilously threatened his relationship with Sadie, and Sadie is reeling from this Darcy s summer of fun has been completely upended because her ex boyfriend Logan secretly flew in from California to profes [...]

    30. Becca says:

This was done as a buddy review with my co blogger Lisa at Lost in Lit3.5 Stars This review is spoiler free for Lost in Love, but may contain spoilers for book one in this series, City Love THE STORY Lisa City Love ended with quite a open ending feeling Becca and I were really looking forward to seeing what happened next for this group of girls Lost in Love picks up exactly where City Love leaves off And if you ve read City Love, then you know it left off with allllll kinds of drama in that Manh [...]
