This is the third book in this series that I ve read, and it s my least favorite Unlike the other two, this one didn t identify trademark characteristics of da Vinci s art This may not be a fault of the book, however There may not be as many finished and still existing examples of his paintings as there are for artists such as Degas, Monet, Van Gogh, and other recent painters.

    2. Teri says:

4.5 stars Superb I learned a lot about the pieces of art in this book they really came alive for me Can t wait to try of these books done by the Metropolitan Museum of Art
